
Auditions
State Street Ballet is an internationally renowned company ensemble featuring professional dancers from around the globe. We seek dancers with strong foundations in classical and contemporary styles eager to collaborate and explore their unique movement expressions. Requirements include pointe work for women, strong partnering abilities, and modern dance techniques. We offer a 26-week contract from September to May, encompassing a home season and national tours.
This year, all of our Company, ProTrack, and Summer Intensive applications can be submitted via DanceApply.com.

How to Audition for State Street Ballet via DanceApply.com
Are you ready to join State Street Ballet? Follow these simple steps to register for your audition through DanceApply.com.
Step 1: Create an Account on DanceApply.com
Go to DanceApply.com.
Click the Sign-Up button if you’re a new user or Login if you already have an account.
Fill out your profile with your contact information, dance experience, and resume.
Step 2: Search for State Street Ballet
On your DanceApply dashboard, navigate to the Auditions tab.
Use the search bar to type in "State Street Ballet."
Select the audition listing for State Street Ballet’s [Season Name] Auditions.
Step 3: Review Audition Details
Read the audition listing carefully to confirm the date, time, and location.
Note any specific requirements, such as headshots, videos, or additional materials.
Step 4: Complete Your Application
Click Apply Now on the audition page.
Upload the required documents:
Dance resume
Dance photos (full-body shots, headshots, etc.)
Video links (performance reels or audition pieces, as specified).

Include any additional requested materials (e.g., a cover letter).
Step 5: Pay the Audition Fee (if applicable)
Follow the prompts to pay the audition fee (if required).
Keep a copy of your payment receipt for reference.
Step 6: Submit Your Application
Review all uploaded materials to ensure accuracy.
Click Submit Application to finalize your registration.
You will receive a confirmation email from DanceApply.com verifying your submission.
Step 7: Prepare for Your Audition
Mark your calendar with the audition date and time.
Review the audition guidelines to ensure you meet all requirements.
Plan your travel and accommodation, if necessary.

Professional Track
Training Program
Tailored for advanced dancers aged 17-23 who aspire to a professional career. This comprehensive course runs five days a week for 32 weeks annually, immersing students in State Street Ballet company classes, performance and touring opportunities, and focused development of technique and artistry.
State Street Ballet
Summer Intensive
For dedicated ballet students aged 12-25, the program features comprehensive training in ballet, modern, pas de deux, jazz, pointe, and strengthening. The four-week intensive culminates in a fully staged performance for family and friends, showcasing the students' progress and artistry.
