Aimee Le

Huntington Beach, CA

Aimee Le started dancing at age 5 at multiple institutions in Orange County, CA. Her early dancing years consisted of ballet and competition dance. In 2018, she received 3rd Place in the Classical Division at the Youth America Grand Prix Semi-Final in Los Angeles. In 2020, she furthered her training at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts under the leadership of Jared Redick and Endalyn Outlaw. There, she danced many roles including "Russian Girls" in George Balanchine's Serenade, the Principal woman in his Theme & Variations, and leading roles in the debut of Ilya Kozadayev’s The Nutcracker and Gina Patterson’s Seven Deadly Sins. In 2021, her performance as the Sugar Plum Fairy in Kozadayev’s The Nutcracker was aired on PBS North Carolina. She was also selected to perform at the Danse Medica conference in collaboration with Misty Copeland at Wake Forest University in 2022.  Aimee joined State Street Ballet as an apprentice in 2023, debuting as the Snow Queen in Rodney Gustafson’s The Nutcracker during her first season. She was promoted to company artist in 2024. She has performed in many works including the company’s revival of Giselle, Gerald Arpino’s Birthday Variations, Edgar Zendejas’ Common Ground, and many more. Aimee holds a BFA in Classical Ballet with a minor in Arts Entrepreneurship and is a certified Pilates instructor.
