No holiday season is complete without a trip to the theater to see The Nutcracker! One of State Street Ballet’s most enchanting productions, this magical story is a favorite for audiences of all ages. The magnificent sets, featuring a gloriously gigantic Christmas tree, create the perfect backdrop for glittering snowflakes, waltzing flowers, the Sugar Plum Fairy, and her enchanting castle of characters.

As always, State Street Ballet’s mission is to inspire, educate, and entertain all audiences, while deepening and broadening our reach within communities. Our production of The Nutcracker is suitable for audiences of all ages and can include numerous local dance students from the communities we travel to on tour. Through productions like The Nutcracker, we hope to give rising young dance students an inspiring experience onstage, as well as expose hundreds of children to their first theatrical ballet experience.
