Fenna Roukema | Executive Assistant

Fenna Roukema received her early training in ballet, modern, contemporary, and jazz from State Street Ballet Academy, formerly Gustafson Dance. She joined Santa Barbara City College’s Modern Dance Company in 2018 and received her Associate’s Degree in Dance in 2022. Additionally, she holds an AA in Kinesiology from SBCC and a BS in Cell and Developmental Biology from UC Santa Barbara. In addition to her academic pursuits, Fenna has also choreographed several works for Santa Barbara City College and has most recently won recognition for FOAM (2022) at the Red Rock Dance Festival in 2023 and Chronophobia (2023), which was the Gala selection at ACDA Baja 2024 and won an Audience Choice Award at the Red Rock Dance Festival in 2024. Fenna has been a member of SSBA’s teaching staff since 2022; she continues to dance with the SBCC Dance Company and joined Selah Dance Collective in 2024.
