Nathaniel Tyson

Nathaniel Tyson began his formal ballet training at the Greater York Center for Dance Education before attending Butler University, where he graduated cum laude with a BA in Dance-Pedagogy. During his time at Butler, he performed soloist and principal roles in Giselle, Cinderella, and The Sleeping Beauty, as well as in the world premiere of Patrick de Bana’s Falling Sky. Tyson joined State Street Ballet’s Professional Track, was promoted to company member in 2021, and has since performed featured roles in The Nutcracker, Carmina Burana, and The Jungle Book, and in contemporary works by Kassandra Taylor Newberry and Laurie Eisenhower.
