Noah Gnes, Apprentice I

Noah Gnes began dancing at age 7 in San Diego with Taeko Nishino. After 8 years of ballet, tap, and contemporary at Niesha’s Dance and Music Academy, he pursued formal ballet training with Golden State Ballet under Raul Salamanca. Throughout his years as a student, he attended Summer Intensives at San Francisco Ballet, Ballet West, The HARID Conservatory, and Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre. At 18, he joined Cincinnati Ballet’s Professional Training Division under the direction of David Morse. While in Cincinnati he performed in various company productions such as Septime Webre’s The Wizard of Oz, Victoria Morgan’s The Nutcracker, and Don Quixote. Noah is honored to be a part of State Street Ballet for his first season as a professional dancer, and is excited for the repertoire this season has to offer.
